Vtg California State Automobile Association AAA License Plate Frame Metal 1940s

Description

You're looking at an original, AAA California state license plate frame. This piece recently came out of a 4th-generation, family-owned factory in Oakland, CA. We found many signs in an old storage room there and are working our way through listing them. This piece likely dates to around the 1940s.
It shows wear commensurate with age including scuffs, paint loss, marks etc. It's solid and ready to be hung. I've put a license plate in the pics just for demonstration but this is not included - let me know if you'd also like to buy the plate.
Measures: 14.25" wide x 9.75" tall.
