    RARE! What a terrific find this was!  The Metropolitan Cook Book was published by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company from what I can tell, around 1930.  Apparently there is a great oatmeal cookie recipe in this!
    There are water stains throughout the book but all of the pages are intact.  Considering it's age, it's in good condition.
