Smokey Yunick original NASCAR Chevelle race car modified 427 alternator bracket

Here is a truly rare Smokey race piece - a genuine Smokey modified 427 Chevrolet alternator bracket
This is a 427 Chevy alternator bracket from one of Smokey's NASCAR Chevelle race cars.
Smokey machined this for exhaust header clearance and also for swinging the alternator up and away from the inner fender and keeping it away from the header heat.
I picked this up at Smokey's auction in 1988 (I also have the custom machined billet steel pulley from Curtis Turners 1967 Atlanta wreck - NOT FOR SALE !)
You can buy all the mass produced Smokey die casts you want - but this is a genuine Smokey race car piece !
