RARE Vintage Original CAL California Pre State License Plate 1908 ? Pre 1913

Vintage original California pre state license plate. Writing on the back pictured indicates this number was used during 1908, but I am not an expert on these so please look at the pictures and judge for yourself on what year this was produced/used and authenticity.
