Plantain is a common weed that grows almost anywhere. It is sometimes called the 'bandaid plant' because of its healing properties. I make the salve myself and my children think it heals anything! It's many uses include bee stings, insect bites, burns, rashes, coldsores, chapped lips, diaper rash, cuts, etc. . Some people have told me that it draws out blood poisoning, but I have never dealt with blood poisoning so can't tell you from personal experience that it works for that. It's really pretty amazing stuff!
