Here we have one set of
Girl Scout Silver Award Pin + Patch
, both brand new.  The pin
measures approximately 3/4" in diameter and the patch is 3".
These are the highest awards for Cadettes, ages 11 to 14 and signify completion of a Silver Award
project. The Silver Award was first
introduced in 1980 and it is still currently available.  In 2011 the design was changed slightly
so the trefoil design is more pointed on the bottom (previously it was so rounded that it was
difficult to tell the top from the bottom).  This pin and patch set have the
post-2011 design
with the
pointed
trefoil
.
This award is only
available with approval
through the council to girls that have actually completed the project, so
these can be very difficult to come by for collectors!
