APOLLO 11 - MOON LANDING - FIRST DAY COVER
Original 1969 Cachet Craft first day cover / envelope commemorating the Apollo 11 astronauts and the first moon landing. This envelope features an artistic Apollo 11 rocket blasting off and a block of 4 (plate # block) of the "First Man on the Moon" stamp.
Please note: The picture that is shown is a stock photo. The envelope you receive will be identical, except the plate number on the stamp block could be different (31374 is shown on the one pictured).
This envelope has 2 different dated circular postmarks - Sept 9, 1969 (the date the stamp was issued) and "Moon Landing - USA - Jul 20, 1969" (the date the Apollo 11 lunar module landed on the moon's surface).
FUN FACT
: The "First Man on the Moon" stamps were printed with a master die actually carried to the moon and back to earth!
