    THIS VEHICLE LICENSE PLATE TOPPER HAS VIVID OLIVE DRAB COLOR AND HAS ORIGINAL 4 MOUNTING HOLES.  THE MONTH MAY IS OVERLAYED AND ATTACHED BY TWO ORIGINAL FASTENER . . .  MEASURES APPROX. 9 BY 4 INCHES AND IS MADE OF STEEL . NICE EMBOSSED LETTERS AND NUMBERS   VEHICLE IDENIFICATION NUMBER IS 6161 . . . . I AM NOT CERTAIN IF THIS WAS ATTACHED TO AN ARMY, NAVY OR CITY OF OAKLAND GOVERNMENT CAR, TRUCK, JEEP OR AMBULANCE, POLICE PATROL VEHICLE ? ? - MAYBE PORT OF OAKLAND VEHICLE I.D.     THE ARMY TERMINAL WAS DECOMMISSIONED IN 1999 AND ONCE LOCATED ON MARITIME STREET, NEAR EASTERN ENTRANCE TO THE SAN FRANCISCO - OAKLAND BAY BRIDGE .  CONSTRUCTED IN 1941 AS PART OF AN EXPANSION OF THE S.F. PORT OF EMBARKATION WHICH WAS STATIONED AT FORT MASON.   IN 1955 THE PORT OF EMBARKATION  WAS RENAMED U.S. ARMY TRANSPORTION  TERMINAL COMMAND OF THE  PACIFIC ........  - S.F.
