TYPE 4 1935 - 1940, GIRL SCOUT MEMBERSHIP PIN
1/20-10k Gold Filled,  My Favorite Design
(In My Opinion,) … this is the most beautiful of all the dozens of membership pin variations.  All of the Type 4 pins have held up wonderfully and the details are the most distinct even after EIGHTY-FIVE YEARS.  The stars are larger and stand out, the arrows are distinct and different in that they are
all the same length.
The neck and tail feathers are clear as are all the other details.  The GOLD CONTENT is clearly marked on the back of this particular pin as, “1/20-10K Gold Filled.” The "SE" hallmark is rarely seen adding to the rarity of this pin.  It is also slightly larger
than the average Type 5 pin
measuring approximately 21.32 mm X 22.9 mm (instead of 20.7mm X 21.5 mm.)  NOTE:  I HAVE NOT CLEANED THIS PIN.  If you are a regular customer, you will know that I highly prefer the patina.  (If you want this cleaned, just let me know when you pay and I will do so.)  Wonderful GIFT to the Collector or Historian!
