1929 SCREW-BACK STAR

In the late 1920s and into the 1930s, the Girl Scout STARS had a
SCREW- ON Backing
.  Look closely at the pictures and you can see the grooved niches around the perimeter of the round, flat back and on the prong.  All of them have this feature in some form.  This is for one style with the flat back that screws onto the prong.  I think you can see it clearly in the pictures.  From the front, it doesn't look any different than later stars with a clutch back.  If you are looking for a different design in the screw back, send me an email and I'll see if I have what you want.  This is a good price if you do not want the card.  If you are looking to have the correct pins on an old uniform, this is a MUST.  I have them WITH the card on another listing at a higher price.  Please excuse my watermarks.  Other sellers are infringing on my pictures and wordage.
