    very nice restored 100% original California license plate. 1915 issue; number 53933.  15 by 6 inches; white legend on red background.
    the plate lies completely straight and flat, with excellent original porcelain as seen in the photos.  one extra hole at top center, with some touchup.  1915 California is - along with 1910 Pennsylvania - the most fragile of standard state issued porcelain plates because of how thin they applied the yellow. don't miss out on this high quality example!
